Visual Identity
Visual identity settings in Brand DNA Vault store your brand’s color palette, typography preferences, logo usage guidelines, and imagery style. These settings inform content generation and help maintain visual consistency across outputs.
What You Can Define
Section titled “What You Can Define”Visual identity settings are captured as part of your brand guidelines — either through document upload or manual entry in the brand profile:
- Color palette — Primary, secondary, and accent colors
- Typography — Preferred typefaces for headings and body text
- Logo usage — Guidelines for when and how to use your logo
- Imagery style — Photography vs. illustration, style preferences, subjects to include or avoid
How Visual Identity Is Used
Section titled “How Visual Identity Is Used”Visual identity settings are primarily referenced when:
- Generating content briefs in Cortex — AI suggestions may reference your visual guidelines for accompanying imagery recommendations
- Adapting for channels in Adapt — channel-specific versions can include notes about visual requirements (image dimensions, style notes)
- Compliance checking in Govern — visual guideline adherence can be included in compliance rules
Uploading Visual Guidelines
Section titled “Uploading Visual Guidelines”If your brand guidelines document includes visual identity information, the AI extraction process will pull out relevant details automatically. You can review and refine the extracted visual settings alongside your voice and tone configuration.
- Include your brand’s hex color codes for precise reference
- Note any platform-specific visual requirements (e.g., LinkedIn banner dimensions, Instagram aspect ratios)
- Document any imagery restrictions — subjects, styles, or stock photo providers to avoid
