GEO Insights
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) Insights analyzes how your content is structured for visibility in AI-generated answers and recommendations. As more users discover content through LLM-powered search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews), optimizing for these systems is increasingly important.
What GEO Analyzes
Section titled “What GEO Analyzes”E-E-A-T Evaluation
Section titled “E-E-A-T Evaluation”Every draft gets an E-E-A-T assessment:
- Experience — Does the content demonstrate first-hand experience with the topic?
- Expertise — Does it show deep knowledge and technical competence?
- Authoritativeness — Is the source recognized as a credible authority?
- Trustworthiness — Does the content inspire trust through accuracy, transparency, and citations?
Each dimension receives a rating:
- Strong — well-demonstrated, likely to be cited by LLMs
- Partial — present but could be strengthened
- Weak — missing or insufficient, unlikely to be cited

GEO vs. SEO
Section titled “GEO vs. SEO”GEO and SEO are complementary:
| SEO | GEO | |
|---|---|---|
| Optimizes for | Search engine rankings | AI-generated citations |
| Key signals | Keywords, backlinks, page speed | E-E-A-T, structure, specificity |
| Measures | Rankings, clicks, impressions | AI visibility, citation likelihood |

Cortex runs both analyses simultaneously so your content is optimized for both traditional search and AI-powered discovery.
